Overall, I’m really happy with my shoots from London and I enjoyed photographing in a different area.  Every one of my shoots turned out successful for what I wanted to achieve and I’m happy with my edits. The reason for this is that they all support the family life project in one way or another and I achieved all the shoots I set out to do while being away. It really helped me that the sun was out for a couple of days because this worked well for the brighter, happy shoots with families that I wanted to capture. I was able to capture some really beautiful and eye-capturing photographs and experimented with my camera settings quite a lot. There are obviously photos within the shoots that I’m not so happy with but that’s what experimentation is all about and you can see my contact sheets in my book. I used the weekend to my full potential and proud of what I was able to achieve.
