As I wasn't entirely happy with my last shoot
on the headlights and streetlights, portraying the blurred out memories from
the day, I wanted to give this another go. This time I'll go somewhere a lot
more lit which will give me a good opportunity to capture some images that I'm
happy with. The problem last time was that I went somewhere with not many
lights, so this time I think I'll go to a motorway at night and hopefully this
will give me more opportunities.
As I mentioned before, I want to take these photographs with multiple lights, but so that I can hopefully still see the surroundings of them. To do this I would need to use a shallow depth of field, just like the photograph portrayed in my inspiration for this shoot.

I am a
lot happier with these edits as I was able to capture a lot more lights. I also
increased the ISO to 1600 so they would be grainy and this worked out really
well as it adds to the concept of the day being blurred out. You can really see
the graininess on these edits as well which I'm glad about. The fact I have
turned them into black and white also adds to the concept a lot better and I
said on my previous shoot that I was going to do this. You can also still make
out that it's a motorway in the foreground which was what I was aiming for;
creating a good composition with the lights in the background and then making
your eyes follow down to the foreground of the motorway. I am happy that I
re-did this shoot as a development because I'm happy with the outcomes now.
